Background: To control an outbreak of invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) among men who have sex with men (MSM) in New York City, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene recommended meningococcal vaccination. This comprehensive cost-effectiveness analysis evaluates the economic impact of meningococcal vaccination strategies among MSM in New York City, providing critical evidence for targeted vaccination policies and resource allocation decisions during outbreak response efforts.
